The Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence (GASE) Review Committee is officially accepting nominations—and now is the perfect time for Pennsylvania employers to highlight their commitment to creating safer, healthier workplaces. If your organization has implemented standout safety initiatives or developed a strong culture of workplace health and safety, this is your chance to be recognized at a statewide level.
What Is the Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence?
The GASE program celebrates employers across Pennsylvania who demonstrate exceptional dedication to protecting their employees. This award honors organizations that go above and beyond in building effective safety programs—and the individuals and teams who work tirelessly to make them successful.
Pennsylvania employers may nominate themselves, or they may be nominated by a third party. The goal is simple: shine a spotlight on the companies that make safety a true priority.
How to Submit Your Nomination
The nomination process is designed to help you clearly outline your safety achievements and initiatives. Here’s how to get started:
1. Request Access to the Nomination Form
Use the Request for GASE Nomination Form to receive a link to both the official GASE Nomination Form and the worksheet.
2. Prepare Using the Worksheet
The worksheet helps you compile all necessary information and draft your responses. It’s a great way to organize your safety program details before formally submitting.
3. Complete and Submit Your Nomination
Once your worksheet is ready, simply copy and paste your responses into the nomination form and submit.
