Welcome to PATHS: Your No-Fee Safety Training Resource This June

The Pennsylvania Training for Health & Safety (PATHS), proudly offered by the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, continues its mission of supporting safer workplaces across the Commonwealth. Through our Health & Safety Division, we provide free training and educational programs focused on essential, lifesaving techniques.

June is National Safety Month

As we recognize National Safety Month, PATHS is highlighting critical training areas including:

• Confined Spaces (General Industry)

• Aerial Work Platforms and Scissor Lifts

• Boating Safety

• Working in Poor Air Quality

• Active Shooter Response

• Safety Committee Leadership

These topics reflect real-world safety challenges and are designed to empower workers and employers with actionable knowledge.

• June 2 – Safety Committee Leadership | 1:30–2:30 p.m.

• June 4 – Working in Poor Air Quality | 1:30–2:45 p.m.

• June 5 – Safety and Health Programs | 1:30–2:30 p.m.

• June 11 – Aerial Work Platforms and Scissor Lifts | 9:30–10:30 a.m.

• June 17 – Safety Culture Part One | 9:30–10:30 a.m.

• June 18 – Active Shooter Training | 10:00–12:00 p.m.

• June 24 – Confined Space for General Industry | 11:00–11:30 a.m.

• June 24 – Boating Safety | 1:30–2:30 p.m.

Workplace Safety Committee (WSC) Certification

Ensure your safety committee is certified and up-to-date with our WSC programs:

• June 5 – Initial Certification | 9:30–11:00 a.m.

• June 12 – Renewal Certification | 9:30–10:45 a.m.

• June 17 – Initial Certification | 1:30–3:00 p.m.

• June 25 – Renewal Certification | 1:30–2:45 p.m.
